Q: What is the turnaround time for my order?

A: Since our launch, Workhorse Pits has experienced a huge demand and an enormous amount of growth.  We believe this to be a direct result of the outstanding performance, excellent craftsmanship, robust materials used and our competitive pricing.  In response to the demand, we have increased production by growing our team and moving to a larger space.  With an order today, we are able to turn around any smoker in 240 days, and we anticipate that lead time to continue to decrease.  Additionally, we are in the process of building a new 30,000 sq. ft. production facility where we will continue to increase production.  Ask any Workhorse Pit owner and they'll tell you "It's Worth the Wait!"  

Q: Do we offer photographs of your build?

A: Unfortunately, we do not offer any photos from production.

Q: What are the differences between the Primitive Pits (our sister company) Babe and Workhorse Pits smokers?

Q: How do I get pricing?

A: All pricing can be calculated on our website.  Just choose the size offset you are interested in and add the options.  The total price can be seen at the top of the options section.

Q: The difference between Premium shipping and Economy shipping?

A: In December 2020, we rolled out our internal, DOT certified shipping option we call "Economy Shipping."  Our intent is to offer a very economical solution for shipping based on "group shipping" and also reduce the risk of a unit being damaged in the shipping process. Based on Economy shipping rates being drastically below market value, units can sometimes take up to 30-days after completion before leaving our shop.  Our current average is under 14 days because we don't have space to store units at our current production volume.  Each unit is routed as fast as we can from our doors to yours.  Premium shipping will continue to be an option through our trusted shipping vendors.  With the "Premium Shipping" option, units will typically ship one to three days after units are completed.

Q: When do I pay for my product?

A: All offset smokers are purchased from our website and full payment is collected.
